The process of emotional health must include both the body and the mind as both are influenced by stress, depression or anxiety.Yoga for the Mind combines yoga movement with breath regulation and self-awareness practice.
This 8 week course helps individuals create and maintain emotional well-being. Students are guided through specific practices that help to create mental and physical wellness in a relaxed and gentle environment. All levels are welcome and special attention and guidance is given to each student.
8 week courses cost £200 and include a CD and manual. Dates:15th February to 12th April 2010 - Islington Yoga, Angel (10.30am-12.30 pm)
15th February to 12th April 2010 - St. Savior Church, Chalk Farm (6.50 - 8.50pm)
18th February to 15th April 2010- Special Yoga Centre, Kensal Rise (7:30-9:30pm)
6 week courses cost £160 includes a CD and manual. Spaces are limited and will be offered on a first come first served basis. Dates: 16th November to 28th December 2010- Islington Yoga Centre, Angel (10:30am-12:30pm)
16th November to Tuesday 28th 2010 - St. Savior Church, Chalk Farm (6.50 - 8.50pm)
Yoga For the Mind Austrian Retreat (8 day intensive course) Date: 22nd June to 30th June 2010. Venue: Austria at the Soami Yoga Retreat Center located in Obermillstatt near the stunning Nockberge National Park.
