Perfect Brows

You're in luck! We were out hunting for fabulous finds in the City Centre last week & went in search of the perfect plucker... a very sound personal recommendation took us to Rose in The Barton Arcade.

Here's the lowdown:

Where?

Rose Beauty Salon, Barton Arcade, Manchester City Centre.

Who?

The lovely Rose is a top class eye-brow threading technician with 10 years experience creating the perfect brow.

What is it?

Eyebrow threading is a method of quickly removing stray or unwanted hairs using a fine thread, it's much more effective & less painful than plucking (which can break hairs, causing them to grow thicker) or waxing (a very painful option).

What's the process?

It takes about 5 minutes to do both brows - the thread is looped around the hairs & pulled away very quickly, efficiently plucking the hairs out. Rose removes all unwanted dark & fair hairs, creating a clean, crisp shape.

Does it hurt?

It stings a little at first but you get used to it. It does look a little red for about 20mins afterwards, so book a session at the beginning of your lunch hour.

Do you need to book?

To be safe, yes, but you may be able to walk in - so there's no harm in popping in on your way to lunch.

How much is it?

Both brows - only £9.00

How often do you need to go back

The hairs grow back within around 2 weeks, but you can keep up the shape much better yourself once they've been tamed. They come back much less dense, so don't worry about them being thicker - they're not!

What's the verdict?

Definitely 10/10 - my eyebrows looked fab afterwards, Rose is lovely & very friendly, the price was excellent & it was all done within 10 minutes... beauty in a flash!
