How to look good not naked
Getting used to your pregnant & post pregnant body is a steep learning curve. You have bits you never had before, dependable bits suddenly morph & move & everything you knew & learnt to love or hate about your body changes.
Time for a tummy tuck?
I've got news for you ladies, regardless of the amount of painful exercise & mental diets you are willing to put yourself through your body will now bear the beautiful battle scars of giving birth. Ok, group hug - let's accept & learn to love the things we can't change.
Skinny jeans & tight t shirts may be a thing of the past but that doesn't mean that jogging trousers & unshaved armpits should become your staple wardrobe. There are ways to look good in your clothes & feel better about those extra jiggly bits.
Take care of yourself & how you look - it will make you feel better (if only until the baby deposits milk on you, again).
Top Tips....
1. Scaffolding is key
As the saying goes, spend money on good shoes & a good bed, because if you aren't in one, you're in the other. However, you spend as much time in your bra as you do in your shoes & bed so invest in a good one. Get measured properly - no room for prudery here. If your lady bumps aren't resting on your belly, it will make a world of difference to every outfit your wear.
2. Learn the new you
Take a friend you trust & go try on clothes. You may find things that didn't suit you in the past suddenly look great & old favourites don't flatter. Think of it as an opportunity for a whole new wardrobe.
Hurrah!
Have fun & do let me know how you get on send a blog message
