Go Organic!
Fancy trying some organic cooking? If you're anything like me, organic starts and ends at chicken. Well, no more Busy Girl, will you need to look eco-anti - have a look at these little organic cooking numbers and you may even learn a thing or two!
First up is the Organic Cook Book - a lavishly produced, no-nonsense book that is bound to be invaluable to all who do want to try organic and know a little more about the food we eat.
A book where old favourites such as `Chilli Con Carne`, 'Baked Apple Dumplings' and `Boeuf Bourguignonne' mix with the less well known, e.g.:-
`Assorted Seaweed Salad', 'Hungarian Fruit Bread' and `Cold Somen Noodles'. Sounds very interesting, if not a little peculiar - definitely worth a try.
Customer View: "If you love cooking and eating good food, organic produce offers an exciting choice and, with this book, you will have all the advice and inspiration you will need."
Food to Live by: The Earthbound Farm Organic Cookbook, is a lovely looking book packed full of over 200 wonderful organic recipes, with gorgeous photography and easy-to-use steps. It is a bit American, but with so much content, you can avoid anything too 'wholesome'! A great read for a new 'Organic' cook.
Customer view: "The thing I like best about the book is the inspirational story of how two city kids turned a roadside raspberry stand into a huge environmentally-responsible company. We can all do our part to curb global warming".
