Drink your way to health
We love a good drink in the Busy Girls HQ, unfortunately, it usually involves something from the Merlot grape or Grey Goose brewery.
We do try & combine our alcoholic tendancies with a little water & juice, so where better to start than with the new breed of 'super' drinks - which promise far more than rehydration.
We put four of the latest to the test...
1. V Water Detox
Apparently Stella McCartney's lot drink this (who cares...) but that's not why we like it. V Water contains dandelion & artichoke, to ease the symptoms of IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). It's also packed with vitamin C & B, to raise energy levels.
£1.50 for 500ml, from Boots & Waitrose
2. Naturally Gorgeous Smoothies
This hard-working smoothie contains omega 3 rich pine nut oil, to boost skin health & suppress your appetitie. Naturally gorgeous smoothies come in Ruby Orange & Strawberry or Coconut & Pineapple.
£3.29 per litre from Waitrose
Beauty Water
Beauty Water claims to be the first naturally flavoured spring water containing Praventin, which can aid smooth skin by reducing the bacteria found in acne... sounds crazy both worth a go!
£1.39 for 500ml from Tesco & Morrisons
Pu'erh Tea
An old chinese remedy, to ease digestion, Pu'erh has received such celebrity acclaim recently that it's made a comeback! Apparently it helps the body to digest fatty food & only 3 cups a day has proven to reduce cholesterol by 25 per cent.
£8.99 for 21 teabags, lifes2good.co.uk
So, drink, drink & be healthy Busy Girls & let us know whether you've tried any super drinks lately & we'll add them to our list.
