Decor
One of the major talking points in the restaurant will be Vermilion's eye-popping `cocoons' on the upper floor bar area.
The huge egg-shaped bed-booths allow guests to lie down among dozens of luxurious cushions while waiting staff supply them and their friends with fine wines and champagnes. And at the heart of the venue is an extravagant tower of glowing buddha heads.

Verdict
East Manchester certainly needed something to draw us out of the bright lights of the city, and Vermilion was more than enough to do so.
Vermilion is a huge new Thai bar and restaurant which definitely brightens up East Manchester, bringing a whole new dimension to the area.
We certainly believe that Vermilion Restaurant deserves to become a destination, especially given it's star-quality design (Vermilion was designed by architect Miguel Cancio Martins, who designed the legendary Buddah Bar in Paris and Man Ray in New York).
