I don't know about you Busy Girl, but my eating habits are becoming shocking this winter & my skin is showing the evidence.
But, no more being rubbish - I've no excuse with this new article for top winter Super Foods... apparently Super Foods can help us eat well & stay healthy during this winter weather.

Garlic
Stinky, anti-sociable, but fabulous for your health. So forget your friends & get eating garlic, Busy Girl... it's long been considered a natural wonder-drug & is known to have strong antioxidant properties. Garlic also has an antibacterial effect - a good way to avoid catching a cold or flu.
Yoghurt
Cereal eater? Slap some yohurt on top for its probiotic organisms which protect you against infections & more serious conditions such as cancer (yikes!)

Now - to make things easier - how about trying this recipe for Easy Chili Con Carne & getting 3 of your Super Foods done at once?
Easy Super Food Chili Con Carne
Ingredients:
1 packet of mince beef or lamb
1 large onion chopped
2 garlic cloves crushed
1 pinch chili powder or 1 fresh red chili chopped
1 pinch of salt
1 can kidney beans (drained)
1 can chopped tomatoes
1 pot of yoghurt
Simple Simon Steps...
Get a saucepan & fry the mince in a little light olive oil with the chopped onion & garlic - until the mince is brown. Pour off the fat (yuk).
Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat til it boils then turn down the heat, cover & simmer for 40 minutes until the mince is less chewy.
Serve with brown rice or a jacket sweet potato & add some plain yoghurt to cool the taste.
