Garlic

Stinky, anti-sociable, but fabulous for your health. So forget your friends & get eating garlic, Busy Girl... it's long been considered a natural wonder-drug & is known to have strong antioxidant properties. Garlic also has an antibacterial effect - a good way to avoid catching a cold or flu.

Yoghurt

Cereal eater? Slap some yohurt on top for its probiotic organisms which protect you against infections & more serious conditions such as cancer (yikes!)

Chili Peppers

Your mouth may never feel the same again & you may never taste another mortal thing, but you'll benefit from the natural pain relief from chilis associated with conditions such as arthritis, protect your heart & fight infection thanks to large amounts of vitamins A
& C.

Oranges & Lemons

Less painful this one, simply have a cup of hot water with lemon instead of a tea every morning & stave off those colds with some valuable vitamin C.

Peas?

Apparently so. Bettter the fresh kind than squashed in a can, mind you. Peas contain eight vitamins & seven minerals, fibre & protein to help your heart, bones & general wellbeing & protect you from colds.

Broccoli

When it comes to disease-fighting vegetables, broccoli is king. As well as containing huge amounts of vitamin C, broccoli has also been linked to cancer prevention & heart, stomach, eye, bone & skin health.
