"You're such a busy girl!", something I have heard for years... I'm not sure how or when I transformed into this time-conscious whirlwind of activity, but if you ask me, life seems to have been this way forever. I can't remember a time when I could just sit & watch TV without trying to finish an article or read a new book or wrap a gift at the same time!
Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike being busy, in fact I thrive on it - as long as I'm busy being effective, that is. In my book there's nothing worse than frantically rushing around all day & then falling into bed late into the evening realising you're knackered but you've not really achieved anything useful.
So how did this guide come about? Well, after retraining as a life & business coach to become my own boss at last, I began to focus on self motivation & I realised that the more productive my days were, the more satisfied I felt & that multitasking can be quite useful if you're doing it right!
Working with busy women like myself, I soon noticed a similar pattern; the old phrase 'a woman's work is never done', although a little sexist in the 21st Century isn't far off. There's always something for us to be doing...
Did you know that over 25% of us girls manage to do 1/2hr of housework before going to work (of course you did, you're one of them!).
So, my busy friends, it made sense that since myself & my busy colleagues have spent the last few years meeting, working with & using the services of some fantastically run business who save you time, money & hassle, it would make sense to send some of them your way.
We hope you enjoy the guide & come back to visit when you've a few minutes free to pick up some more busy info.
Enjoy the guide & do remember to let us know what you think! Best wishes, Lucy & The Busy Girls Team x
